Michael Brown's television and video work has spanned 30 years. A native of Oklahoma, he first appeared in a statewide television special while a student at OSU. His live performance work was followed by the lead role in a summer musical at Six Flags Over Texas. Later, he worked as production stage manager on the CBS live national telecast of the Miss Teenage America pageant.
Following a stint as news director at the NBC affiliate in Tyler, Texas, Michael Brown was an anchorman, reporter and talk show host for the ABC affiliate in Dallas...the nation's 8th largest television market.
In 1985, he founded Michael Brown Productions, Inc., a broadcast quality video production facility and studio in Arlington, Texas. The business became a logical extension of his years of experience on both sides of the camera. Since its beginning, Michael Brown Productions has produced numerous award-winning videos, while working for some of the most recognizable corporate names in America.
Though heading up Michael Brown Productions occupies most of his time, he frequently serves as guest speaker and/or master of ceremonies for various corporate and organizational meetings, held both locally and around the country.
Michael Brown is married to internationally-known New York Times best-selling novelist Sandra Brown. They are parents of Rachel & Ryan, grown children, now with their own families and careers. |
