Raised in Tyler, TX and St. Louis, MO, Darren was immersed in the media arts from an early age. Sports, games, movies, and computers played a primary role in his life. After high school, Darren wanted to integrate all these interests into a career he was passionate about. The Digital Media Program at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, offered the right opportunity. Since receiving his Digital Media diploma in 2007, Darren has been working for Michael Brown Productions, as the lead cinematographer and editor. He has filmed and edited many broadcast commercials, TV shows, and documentaries.

When Darren is not shooting and editing video, he can be found doing renovations to his house with his beautiful wife, Jessica, and playing with his two Australian Shepherd dogs.
